More about St kitts
All around the world people are looking for the perfect place to spend their holydays. Some go to mountain resorts and others prefer the sea. In both cases there is a little problem that either we like it or not will always be present: agglomeration! Some people refuse to go to paradise islands like Aruba and such just because they are overcrowded with tourists. That is not the case with this little island that borders the Caribbean and the Atlantic. It is a calm place where you will enjoy yourself to the maximum if you prefer some peace and quiet.
Only some celebrities and a handful of tourists know about St. Kitts and the island is just coming its way up the touristic hotspots in the Caribbean Sea. So you should go there before it will get overcrowded! Low humidity, white sand beaches, a balanced ecosystem and the great resorts make this island heaven on earth. It is very elegant, not so pricey and above all you have enough room to wander about without being disturbed by anybody. St Kitts’ size is only 64 square miles, their currency is a bit different from the US dollar but they accept it as well as the European euro and you won’t have any problems with bad weather only if you plan to visit in June or November, when it’s the hurricane season. St Kitts also has two wonderful diving spots called Nag’s Head and Booby Shoal. You can also visit the Brimstone Hill Fortress that was built around the year 1690. A park with walking trails goes around the fortresses very well preserved battlements. If you plan to go to the beaches on St. Kitts then you must go to the southern part of the island. There you will find Sand Bank Bay, the best beach the island has to offer. This beach is renowned for its marvelous white sand and clear waters. If you go to the northern part of the island you could enjoy the black and gray volcanic sand beaches of Belle Tete and Dieppe Bay.
Anyway you put it, whether you prefer the white or black sand beaches, if you choose to explore the ruins of Brimstone Hill Fortress or just walk about and explore the island, St. Kitts is a great place! So hurry up if you want to take advantage of it while there is room because sooner or later it will become a great hotspot invaded by tourists.
